Sorry about the pink title...but hey, it's not every day you get to say this..... 'Who's Afraid of Mr Wolfe?' has been shortlisted for the Romantic Comedy Novel of the Year by the Romantic Novelists Association www.rna-awards.com

To say I am chuffed doesn't cover it. Congratulations to all the other nominees in this and the other categories. The Award Ceremony is on March 5th in London... May the best book win!!!!

The lovely Chachic has interviewed me on her book blogging site.  I have agreed a contract with Quercus for another two books... many thanks to Charlotte and the Quercus team for showing this commitment to my writing. The books will be 'Grace Under Pressure' and 'The Mysterious Miss Mayhew'. I am so excited I'm finding it hard to type in a straight line!!

7th May - 2.30 at the Main Stage, Queens Hall, Hexham will be 'in conversation' with Salley Vickers about her writing life and her collection of short stories 'Aphrodite's Hat'.

5th May - doing a five minute 'open mic' session on True Love as part of 'Spark' in the Exchange Cafe, Queens Hall... 8.45 onwards.

4th May -  Hexham Book Festival. Appearing from 1pm at the Robinson-Gay gallery in Hexham with Chloe Daykin, reading excerpts from 'Who's Afraid of Mr Wolfe' and two short stories.

The event at Amble is at the local pub (hurrah) on Monday 14th March from 7pm- 8.30pm.

Just found out one of my stories 'Santa on the Steps' has been accepted by 'My Weekly' and will appear on May 14th.

Full page interview and feature in the second section of the Hexham Courant on Friday 25th March.

Just heard I will be doing a chat with Salley Vickers on the 7th May at the Hexham Literary Festival  - subject, her new short story collection.

I'll also be taking part in another festival event with new writers - more details to follow.

Plus, with the Romantic Novelists Association (Northumberland Branch) I will be talking about romantic writing at Amble Library in March - date to be confirmed and in June will be doing my own talk about 'Who's Afraid of Mr Wolfe' and my short stories at Hexham Library - more details later.
